"Pink Flamingo" - Joe & Martina | Single Cover Art
Joe & Martina, married country duo formerly known as Terra Bella, have combined the stylings of their early Bakersfield influences with a modern twist on their new, quirky summertime smash "Pink Flamingo". The single is available now on all digital platforms with a music video starring singer-songwriter Dustin Huff to be released in the coming week.
Joe & Martina recorded and produced "Pink Flamingo" in their home studio with lead Telecaster licks by Parker Daniel and sweet steel guitar by Eddy Dunlap, the song was co-written by Joe with Lisa Daye and Molly Bowers.
"Martina and I have an old, beat up plastic pink flamingo in our backyard that we brought to Nashville from our old house in California," said Joe. "I had spent the morning writing with two of my favorite songwriters, Lisa Daye and Molly Bowers. We were chillin' in our backyard wracking our brains for another song direction when Lisa noticed the lawn ornament, looked over at me and said, 'Hey, how about we write a song called 'Pink Flamingo'?' We all laughed and wrote us a Country as cornbread tune about someone getting drunk with a pink flamingo."
Followers of Joe & Martina may have noticed that across their social media platforms that a flamingo icon has been incorporated in all posts, stories, and graphics leading into the hype of new music from the duo.
"It's such a thrill to see fans catch on to our 'easter eggs,'" said Martina. "The flamingo now has a name [Carl] and often makes appearances during our shows in the form of a flabongo."

Originally from California's Central Valley, Joe and Martina Costa have been performing together for the better part of a decade. Joe and Martina have toured primarily up and down the West Coast and across the United States playing clubs, theatres, and rodeos as well as opening for national acts such as Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, and Lee Brice, to name a few. In August of 2013, the couple decided to move 2,200 miles east to "Music City “ and further pursue their artistry. Joe has since acquired a cut on Luke Combs’ double platinum-selling album This One’s For You with the song “Don’t Tempt Me”. Joe and Martina were introduced to esteemed producer/guitarist, Johnny Garcia, who began to coach and produce Joe and Martina's (formally known as Terra Bella) material in between tour legs with Garth Brooks. In 2016, the debut EP Road To Forever came to fruition and scored the duo's first Billboard Indicator (#51) and Music Row (#42) charting song with the single "You've Got That Somethin'." Ahead of the release of their first LP There's A Country Song in 2018, Joe and Martina were included in Billboard's list of "Country Artists to Watch,". The duo continuously unravels the ties that bind independent acts from achieving commercial success, most recently through the worldwide music video premiere of bona fide small-town anthem "Middle of Nowhere USA" via CMT.com.
